Director Bio

Fábio Leal lives in Recife, Brazil. He’s a director, actor, screenwriter, and festival programmer. His first short film, The Daytime Doorman (2016), was released on DVD in the U.S. on the compilation Furious Desires through TLA Releasing. Renovation, the second short film he directed, won Best Short, Best Directing, and Best Screenplay at the 26th Mix Brasil Festival.
