Director Bio
Max Rifkind-Barron is a queer, Jewish filmmaker from Los Angeles. He wrote and produced the short film Pipe Dream, an unconventional coming-of-age story, which was acquired by Warner Brothers Television and is in development as a digital series. He produced Madeleine Olnek’s Wild Nights with Emily, a feature-length comedy starring Molly Shannon as the poet Emily Dickinson, now in theaters nationwide. He currently works as a staff writer at Bazelevs Company, producers of Unfriended and Searching. He holds an MFA and BA in Film from Columbia University.
