Director Bio
Lydia Lane is an LGBT writer and director based out of Los Angeles. She grew up in a small town 45 minutes outside of Springfield, Missouri, where she had plenty of time to daydream and practice world-building. She received her BFA in Digital Filmmaking from Stephens College. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles and worked as a residential counselor for homeless and foster youth at the Los Angeles Youth Network. When she decided she had enough life experience, she applied to the University of Southern California, where she received her MFA in Film and Television Production. Lane’s goal is to tell stories about marginalized groups in a way that makes them relatable to everyone, therefore bringing important conversation to the forefront.
