Director Bio
Mitch Yapko is an award-winning filmmaker, known for his character work, focusing often on surreal characters in real-life situations. He looks for the heart of the story and strives to make all of his films relatable. He loves to pull people out of their lives and into his imagined worlds. His films have shown in film festivals around the world, including Sundance (Smilf, Jury Prize). Yapko has spent more than ten years directing and developing content. With a background in theater, he has the ability to connect with his actors to bring out the best performances every time.
