Director Bio
Adelina Anthony is a critically-acclaimed Two Spirit Xicana Lesbiana artist. In 2012, along with Marisa Becerra, she co-founded AdeRisa Productions. Anthony’s first short film, Forgiving Heart, premiered at Outfest Fusion in 2013. Other works as a writer-director at Outfest Fusion and/or Outfest include Bruising for Besos (2016) and Amigas with Benefits (2017). As a screenwriter she also penned: You’re Dead to Me (2013) and Get the Life (2016), which also screened at Outfest and were produced by Film Independent Project Involve cohorts. She has twice been awarded the Latino Public Broadcasting Public Media Content Fund.
