Director Bio

Nick Borenstein is a New York–based director, writer, dancer, and actor. He wrote, directed, and starred in Trip, a selected series of IFP’s Screen Forward Lab, and The Buddy System, a short film that was developed into a digital series for Elite Daily. He’ll be releasing three short films in 2019, two of which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Additionally, Borenstein staged a live dance performance during a 2019 Artist Residency in Mexico City. He has also worked in the programming, casting, and marketing departments at ABC, NBC, HBO, Comedy Central, Pivot TV, Hud:sun Media, and Topic Studios.
