Director Bio

Luis Mariano Garcia is a Mexican screenwriter and director graduated from CUEC. His short films include Don’t Look Back (Best International Short Film at Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre and best Mexican Short FIlm at Todos Los Santos Film Festival), Monster (Diosas de Plata nominee and National Short Film Grand recipient), and Sea Foam (best screenplay at Shorts Mexico Film Festival). His feature screenplays have been selected and awarded at contests and film festivals such as Guanajuato International Film Festival, Oaxaca Film Fest, and Fernando Mendez Horror Screenplay Contest. He is currently in pre-production of his first feature film, Ephemeroptera, to be shot this year’s fall.
