OUTFEST VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Want to get involved with Outfest? The Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival is a great opportunity for new volunteers looking to donate their time, or for veteran volunteers to continue their support. Through Outfest LA, Outfest celebrates cutting edge, dynamic, and diverse voices in queer cinema by showcasing LGBTQ feature films, shorts, and panels to a multi-cultural audience in Southern California. NEW VOLUNTEERS
In order to volunteer with Outfest Los Angeles, we ask that you follow these registration requirements as they are essential for a successful and enjoyable volunteer experience.
- Register for an Account on Shiftboard
- Upload a headshot photo of yourself into the Shiftboard “MyAccount” tab. Your face must be clearly visible.
- Make sure your information is up to date and completed as fully as possible on Shiftboard at all times.
COMPLIMENTARY MEMBERSHIP
All volunteers hours accumulated from the beginning of August to the following end of July go directly towards an Outfest Membership. With a membership, you are gifted with access to advanced tickets, complimentary tickets to the festival(s), and priority seating to various screenings.
- 24 – 35 Volunteer Hours | Crew Level Membership
- 36 – 59 Volunteer Hours | Gaffer Level Membership
- 60+ Volunteer Hours | Assistant Director Level Membership
